Jean Marc arrived in Miami from Paris in the late 90's, leaving behind Valentino and the couture shows of Yoji Yahmamoto, Jean Paul Gaultier and Barbara Bui, where he was known by models for his soft touch and uncompromising professionalism. While in demand as a freelance stylist, Jean Marc was an integral part of the Rene Furterer research team, a role that enabled him to understand haircare from the inside out, having also consulted for L'Oreal, Sebastian and Jean Claude Biguine.
Once settled in the U.S., Jean Marc opened the first Jean Claude Biguine Salon in Miami, followed by almost a decade as a Senior Stylist with Pipino, helping Rick Pipino build his salons at the Shore Club and then in NYC. In 2012, with the launch of Hair by Jean Marc, he further refined his combined sense of French style and American glamour.
Over the years, Jean Marc's clients have included Sharon Stone, Fergie, Kristy Hinze, Kristen Cavalleri, Jaime Pressly, Eva Longoria, Tom Lord-Alge, Sir Ivan, Michael Tilson Thomas, Peter Tunney, and Joel Segal. His work has been featured in Allure, Cosmopolitan, Elle and Ocean Drive, and he has appeared on America’s Next Top Model, Housewives of New York, Housewives of Miami, Model Genius, Oprah and Fox News. Jean Marc has styled for numerous red carpets, New York and Paris Fashion Weeks, the Latin Grammy’s, a number of New York gallery openings and the Thomas Zimmar, famed agent to top models, while serving long-time clients in New York, Miami and the Hamptons.
